Princeton University Press has graciously released a corrected version of MHE. This is not a new edition (we’re still recovering from the first!). But we’ve corrected the mistakes uncovered by careful readers in the past 18 months. The corrected version is now in print and should be shipping soon from Amazon and other big retailers. PUP plans to fulfill Fall 2010 course orders using the new version.
Which isn’t to say there are no more mistakes, so keep those corrections coming.

It is not worth while buying another copy of the book – reprinted with corrections.
Why not post the correction on the website in an intelligible format so that the reders may make corrections in their copy and live with it at least till the second edition comes if ever.
thanks Anand . . . we’ve been posting corrections here:

The corrected version is still not available – either from Princeton University Press or from Amazon. Are they waiting to be rid of the unsold copies of the older version before releasing the corrected version?
Naresh – thanks for your interest. I bought one from Amazon a couple weeks ago – got the corrected copy!
(its not a new edition, so there’s no way to tell in advance but I believe these are now shipping everywhere)
